Two brothers, Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester, are demon hunters. They are brave and intelligent enough to fight the evil monsters and ghosts for their whole life. They drive around the country to look for the track of demons, and kill them to protect the people. Once the supernatural incidents happened somewhere, they will show up soon.
Of course no exceptions for this time, brothers are about to an isolated island where several weird murders occurred one after another. They know something wrong in that island by their hunter’s keen sense of nose and instinct. The island is sort of mysterious and far away from mainland, where just only one ferryboat connected to the outside world. They have to leave Dean’s precious car, and wait for the ferryboat under the blazing sun. Ferry is finally coming after 2 hours’ waiting. Surprisingly, the dollars are rejected by boatman when Dean opens his colorful woman style wallet. Boatman tells them the residents in the island have their own currency, if they do not have, trade some valuable stuff instead. Dean thinks of the beautiful carpet which just brought from antique shop for Bobby’s new house. As expected, the boatman likes it and let them get in the boat. The boat is wired and narrow with feather in the bottom of the boat, which makes a little comfortable. After another 2 hours, they arrive to the island. Before the brothers leave, the boatman takes out a ruler to measure the carpet, and then give them some strange coins. He tells them the carpet is far beyond the ferries’ fee, so gives them local coins in case they need to buy something. Brothers thanks him and leave to the local police station.
They pretend to be FBI as usual to inquire into the case from local sheriff. The sheriff tells them there were already 3 people dead which was found in the same place, and killed by same way. Their bodies were missing just left heads, but the odd thing was that their hair was all cut off. Then sheriff leads them to examine the heads. Sam finds some sulfur on these heads, which indicates those cases are something to do with demon. He asks Dean to pass him demon detector to insure his perspective. However, he feels sick when he see Dean eating chestnuts that he bought by the local coins just now while he is looking at disgusting dead heads. That is just the way his brother is, do never change.
Then they do some research on the internet about the house that the place is near the crime scene. They find the owner, an Indian woman, who was a hairdresser died three years ago, and her house will be removed next month. There were five people involved her case, but they were acquitted because lacking of evidence at last. Her death was a mystery case without clues. And they also discover the three dead heads belong to three of these suspects. The case seems very clear. The dead Indian woman turned to the ghost and killed the people who killed her for revenge. Her occupation explains the reason the victims all got hair cut.
The target is explicit. In order to avoid death of the left two people, brothers head to her tomb once it gets dark. They dig out the Indian woman’ body and burn her bones, which is the effectest way to destroy the ghost.
Unexpectedly, another murder takes place the next day. The fourth suspect is dead. Brothers are pissed off and feel confused. They go to the last suspect’s home to look into the truths. The suspect is already frightened, and now knows ghost killed other four. He has to confess since the brothers are his only hope. Three years ago, a mendicant monk with lots of jewelry came to the island. Indian woman knows that, and invited him to her house. Then she asked them to rob the monk. But they killed him by accident and buried his body at the basement. Afterwards, India woman was too greed to be killed by them. She wanted all of the jewelry. Otherwise, she would turn them into the police.
The brothers go to the woman’s house. Locking all the doors and windows, then they fetch out a blue bottle full of the salt, and spread it along the doors and windows, which can keep the ghost inside. Suddenly, the dead monk shows up, and is going to kill them. As the plan, Dean fights against the ghost, and Sam seeks his bones at the basement. Dean uses salt gun to shoot monk, but it does not work. After several attacks, the situation becomes dangerous. Dean hardly resists the ghost. Fortunately, Sam burns monk’ bones in time. The ghost instantly turned to the ash.
The case is solved. The last suspect keeps his life in the prison. The island is back to the peace. The local people give the brothers a special badge to thank them. And then brothers are on the way to another hunt.
